ChordBuddy, LLC today announced that American country singer-songwriter and reality TV star John Rich has endorsed the popular ChordBuddy® guitar learning system. Rich will appear in advertising and publicity opportunities for the company as well as inclusion in a follow up segment for season four of the Emmy-nominated hit ABC Show “Shark Tank.”
“I believe that playing the guitar can change a person’s life,” said Rich. “ChordBuddy is a fantastic product that makes it possible for anyone to pick up and start playing the guitar, today—and stick with it.”
In addition to his solo career and business ventures, Rich is part of the duo “Big & Rich” whose next album “Hillbilly Jedi” is due out Sept. 18. Rich has also been recognized for his work in helping kids with cancer—raising more than $1.4 million for the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Over his 21-year career, Rich has co-written singles for multiple artists, including Faith Hill, Keith Anderson, Jason Aldean and Gretchen Wilson, as well as producing records for several other artists. Rich co-wrote the Number One hits “Redneck Woman” for Gretchen Wilson, “Mississippi Girl” for Faith Hill and “Why” for Jason Aldean.
ChordBuddy investor, Canadian businessman and one of the stars of “Shark Tank,” Robert Herjavec, introduced the product to Rich. ChordBuddy CEO Travis Perry, Herjavec and Rich recently filmed a segment for Shark Tank in Detroit following a “Big & Rich” show there.
ChordBuddy’s patented guitar learning system attaches to the neck of the guitar and allows students to play songs instantly by pushing a button. As they progress, the tabs are removed, like training wheels on a bike, and the students are able to play the chords. ChordBuddy comes with a lesson guide, DVD and book with over 100 songs for under $50.
